Hi Everyone! Walter, Co-chair. 2010 State Convention, was over yesterday and we designed this new flier for the 2010 State Convention. Please make announcements at your meetings and distribute to all the groups in your districts. AREAS OF INVOLVEMENT INCLUDE: Secretary, Treasurer, Registration (several people will be needed to man the registration tables), Programs (need to be layed out with correct info.), Guest Speakers (help host), Hospitality Rooms/Coffee Overseer, Printing and Graphics (flier and registration forms), Local Publicity, Mailings, Literature (display), Security (for treasurer if required, checks on persons entering dance for proper ID, etc.), Food (compile list of alternates for those who do not wish to sign up in advance), ID Badges (coordinated with Registrations & Printing Chairs … they will need to be assembled; printed name & town inside plastic sleeve, then alphabetized for easy location), Decorating (platform decor, banner if decided upon, table decoration and speaker gifts, also flowers for guest speaker), and Entertainment (handles details for entertainment chosen by Chairperson). A complete set of guidelines is available upon request. I haven’t had time yet to load all 9 pages but they should be ready tomorrow. As you can clearly see, this is quite an endeavor which we are privileged to be a huge part of.
