Camping, Swimming, Fellowship, Great Canoeing!!!

Join us in canoeing the Pine River through the Manistee National Forest. A beautiful river, and one of the fastest in lower Michigan.

Family is important so bring your wives, husbands or significant other. We welcome children, but caution the age of those who actually go down river. Pets are also welcome in the campground.

When: August 22^nd, 23^rd, 24^th

Campground offers water & electric hook-ups at each site. Heated bathroom-shower houses (no token showers). Heated swimming pool, swings, & play areas for the kids. Gate is open until 1:00am for late arrivals.

Pricing: 0-5 years Free /6-15 years $5.00 per person – per night / 16 & older $11.50 per person – per night.

Canoeing: $42.oo per paddlecraft. $80.00 per raft rental

(good option for those taking children down river).

There is a great assortment of specialty paddlecraft available. If you would like a Kayak, or any solo paddlecraft, reserve early to ensure your selection.

Pricing includes USFS use permit, USFS parking pass, life preservers, litter bag, placement & pick up of paddlecraft.

I-75 north to US-10 west (exit 162) to M-115 northwest towards Cadillac to M-55 west (approx 20 miles) to M-37 south (approx. 3 miles) to 48 ½ Road east

(look for Kestelwoods Store on the corner ofM-37 & 48 ½ road)

Campground 50’ east on north side of road.
